In Elika's class, we were asked to form a group with people who had same platform beliefs on how to run a country. My group, Ethan Thompson and Taylor Addison, came up with these following ideals:
-Same Sex Marriage
-Pro Gun Control
-Pro Choice
-Semi Green
-Decrease Federal Government involved in Public Education
-Decrease Sex and Drug Regulations
-Increase Taxes on Richer/Large Corporations’ and Decrease Taxes on Poor/Smaller Corporations’
Same Sex Marriage:
We believe anyone, dispit their gender views, should be able to marry whomever they choose. They deserve equal rights, just like any other citizen in the U.S.
Pro Gun Control:
Guns don’t kill people; people kill people.
Pro Choice:
A woman’s choice ove rher body is non-negociable. If abortion is needed in a certain case, it should be done safely and legal.
Semi-Green:
We should be working towards solutions to preserve and protect our environment for a healthier, better life.
Education:
Decrease federal government involvement in public education. We need more funding towards education and we need more programs to help broad the minds of younger generations.
Sex/Drug Regulations:
Decrease regulations on drugs and sex, people are responsible for themselves. Programs should be provided for those who wish to take better care of themselves while being involved in these things.
Taxes:
Increase Taxes on Richer/Large Corporations’ and Decrease Taxes on Poor/Smaller Corporations’. Our future depends on it. |
